Key Responsibilities- Commitment to WBF's values and culture, including support and openness to continuous learning, and creating safe, inclusive workplaces with respect for all employees, applicants, students, and stakeholders.
- Lead a broad WBF Recruitment Strategy and play a key role in connecting women with training that leads to life changing employment.
- Develop, create, plan, write and deliver recruitment resources, presentations, workshops, and information sessions
- Organize recruitment efforts by program focusing on prospective applicants in potential communities in an identified geographic region.
- Share WBF information to identified target groups and other appropriate internal and external contacts. Make appropriate referrals using knowledge of all WBF programs and services (Financial Aid, Readiness etc.)
- Represent and promote WBF by travelling within Alberta and connect with communities and prospective applicants to provide information about WBF (e.g. career fairs, information sessions, and other events
- Coordinate events such as industry showcases, information sessions and youth camps
- Provide timely activity and progress reports
- Field wide range of telephone and electronic inquiries; make referrals to internal and external contacts
- Regularly research recruitment and orientation events, tracking trends and informing ongoing improvements
- Establish evaluative measures and processes for recruitment initiatives
- Dynamic and energetic individual with excellent communications and public speaking skills
- High level of personal integrity and commitment to putting the Mission and values of Women Building Futures into action
- Interest in working with high schools, postsecondary students, and organizations to assess strengths and barriers, and actively engage with people exploring training for employment opportunities.
- A community connector who is interested in building and nurturing relationships and strengthening a network that includes community organizations focused on youth, women and training for employment connections.
- Great capacity to adapt in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Excellent service and public relations skills to connect with people and community organizations, knowledge of resources.
- Ability to communicate information in clear, concise ways, and adapt for a variety of participants and audiences.
- Confidence and comfort with facetoface presentations and events, as well as online or blended formats.
- Develop best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of engagement and recruitment processes; willingness to learn and try different approaches.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and customer relationship management software (CRM).
- Excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy are necessary in order to work with diverse backgrounds; must be able to interact professionally with a variety of internal and external client groups.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated event coordination and project management skills.
- Comfortable with administrative activities such as scheduling, attendance tracking, budgeting, evaluation, and reporting.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Experience and comfort working independently and in collaboration with a team and community members.
- Ability to travel and a valid "Class 5" driver's license (cannot be a graduated license) with proven driving record (abstract required).

- Degree or Diploma in related field such as Education, Community Development, Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent training and experience.
- Minimum of twoyears and ideally 5 years of recruitment or community engagement experience.
- Experience presenting to groups.
- Criminal and Vulnerable Sector checks indicating no record of convictions and no intervention service records are required.
- Frequent travel throughout Alberta is required, approximately to 50% of time.
