Job Description:


The Revenue Operations Systems Specialist ("Systems Specialist") will be part of a team that is accountable for developing, researching and implementing strategies that will meet Assent's strategic and operational business needs.

This individual will be expected to learn multiple systems and processes and help create order in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.


The Systems Specialist will lead the ongoing design development and optimization of Assent's Salesforce to ensure business processes are appropriately automated, key performance metrics are accurately calculated and reported upon and critical data is captured in a manner that supports insightful business analysis.

The Systems Specialist will develop and deploy new business process functionality within the areas of Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Finance.


Additionally, the Systems Specialist will be responsible for driving efficiency and productivity, through system integrations, identifying data driven trends, standardizing key metrics and the creation of real-time dashboards and reports in Salesforce and/or other business intelligence tools.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Assent's Salesforce instance.
  • Define and uphold prospect and customer data hygiene and data stewardship best practices for Assent.
  • Identify Data Artifacts within corporate systems and support efforts to either reintegrate or quarantine them.
  • Coordinate and align internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance and Customer Success to ensure data accuracy and quality throughout the funnel
  • Track goals to support business operations and work with stakeholders to identify, define and automate key metrics
  • Identify opportunities and work with other departments to ensure common efficiencies and best practices are leveraged organizationwide
  • Make recommendations based on identified insights that improve efficiency
  • Consult and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to develop targeted lists based on buyer personas
  • Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent Compliance.

It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications:


  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics, Computer Science, Math, or a related field
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Administration Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate to high complexity
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Credential
  • Strong quantitative analysis, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of Data Management practices and Business Intelligence with strong math skills, ability to collect, report and analyze data with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and maturity with the ability to present data, visually and verbally, to guide conversations with business managers
  • Experience with data management using tools such as Excel, Sheets, SQL Server and knowledge of Marketo, GainSight, Zendesk an asset
