Role Overview:
The Quality Technician is responsible for safely conducting physical and visual tests in a timely manner to ensure that customer specifications are met, not only in the lab, but also on the production floor and the warehouses.

Hours: Night Shift 11:00PM-7:00AM
Responsibilities:
- Observes all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintaining good housekeeping and GMP practices.
- Inspects completed finished units/parts in process using statistical sampling techniques and following printed procedures to evaluate quality of products.
- Selects, according to sampling tables, percentage of production lot of containers.
- Examines products to judge quality of appearance, packaging, and qualifications.
- Measures dimensions and performance criteria with customer or company supplied specifications using measuring instruments.
- Rejects or accepts production according to quality of samples inspected.
- Communicates with production associates regarding nonconforming product in order for timely corrections to be made.
- Has the authority to place product on hold and shut machines down.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to dust/airborne particles; heights; loud noise & vibrations; mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
PPE are required when performing job functions, such as gloves, hairnet, ear plugs, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes etc.

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
