manufactures a wide range of diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) for medium-duty trucks, buses and heavy duty class 8 diesel trucks.

We are looking for a
Mechanical Kit Preparer to join our team

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembles a wide variety of parts according to specifications, while maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Reads job order documents for product specifications and selects required materials for each product based on work orders.
Provides troubleshooting during the manufacturing process.
Calibrates and adjusts machinery using various hand tools.
Identifies quality issues with products during the manufacturing process and stops machines if necessary.
Performs visual checks both before and after the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are being met.
Maintains assigned work area and equipment in a safe manner; cleans welded parts.
Operates powered and manual equipment to OHSA/Company safety standards.
Perform other duties as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous assembly experience is considered an asset.

BOM experince:

Ability to work from verbal and/or written instructions with mínimal supervision.
Forklift license considered an asset.
Knowledge of standard safety procedures is required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly throughout a shift
Excellent manual dexterity and handeye coordination.
Strong communication skills
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
