Summer Student, Executive Office
Temporary Full-Time (8 weeks contract)
Join us as a Summer Student and help us fulfil our vision of providing Great Care Inspired by Community As a Summer Student you will work with us on a variety ofprojects and other initiatives in collaboration with various departments and teams across the hospital and external partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support projects and initiatives throughout, including daily operations, planning, logistics, and communications.
- Support the documentation of best practices to ensure sustainability.
- Assist with data modeling, analysis, evaluation and report writing.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma, required.
- Enrollment in a relevant postsecondary program, required. Healthcare related or business field, preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong demonstration of tact and diplomacy with a customer service focus
- Expectation of this role encompasses the need to maintain confidentiality with respect to all aspects of the work being performed
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and prioritize workload
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with information gathering and the ability to synthesize and summarize information
