    We are looking for a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our Resort Accounting Team, working with our Grouse Mountain Resort, Revelstoke Mountain Resort, and Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing brands.

    This position will report to the Assistant Controller, Resort Division and Centralized Accounting.
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
    ~3-5 years of relevant work experience.
    ~ Experience in full-cycle accounting role with a strong working knowledge of GAAP.
    ~ Strong financial analysis skills and independent problem solving.
    ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations experience would be considered an asset).

    Lead full cycle accounting responsibilities ensuring accurate and timely results are provided to the business.
    Liaise with operations management on accounting issues.
    Responsible for complex balance sheet reconciliations.
    Maintain effective internal controls, identify risks and propose recommendations for required control changes as necessary.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, prioritizing automation where possible.
    Support the annual external financial statement audits and tax filing requirements.
    Responsible for property taxes management and insurance for all Northland brands.
    Manage certain commodity tax filings, including certain international filings.
    Perform other accounting duties as required.
