About the Job
***Our team of Customer Success Specialists are customer-facing employees that drive the customer experience for our innovative ismart technology in the waste management industry. They provide day-to-day administrative support to clients, maintain client relationships by conducting pre
- and post-sales client service, address concerns and initiate regular communication with clients. The account coordinator will be the first point of contact for our ismart technology service, which is an iOT (Internet Of Things) software system that is used for sustainability programs in the waste management industry. The individual will also be responsible for facilitating data analysis and generating sustainability reports to assess efficiency.


This is full-time,
12-18 month contract role working on a Hybrid schedule, 2 days in office, 3 days at home.

You will report directly to the Account Coordinator team lead.


A Day in the Life
***As a Customer Success Specialist at Metro Compactor Service, your day will involve:
  • Generating and analyzing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on compactor performance, operational efficiencies, and cost variables, using the data to drive improvement strategies.
  • Managing client accounts with a commitment to Super Service, addressing inquiries and complaints promptly, and communicating regularly with clients to provide product updates and technical support.
  • Facilitating product demonstrations and training for new and existing clients, educating them on the benefits of our iSmart technology and how best to utilize it.
  • Conducting diagnostic monitoring on waste compactor fullness using our innovative iSmart device, ensuring optimal compliance for haulage service levels and invoicing agreements.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments to ensure customer needs are met and errors are minimized, and coordinating with external vendors as needed.
  • Implementing and tracking optimization plans to help our clients meet their sustainability goals.

What You Bring to the Table
We're looking for an innovative thinker and problem-solver who has:

  • Experience with CRM systems, data analysis, and report writing to manage and grow client relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
  • The ability to think on their feet, demonstrating resourcefulness when faced with mínimal instructions or ambiguity.
  • A passion for environmental sustainability and a mindset geared toward constant improvement and efficiency.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail.
3+ years of experience of Customer Service and Coordination success

  • A postsecondary education and at least 3 years of experience in customer service, or coordination roles.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, with demonstrated abilities in developing pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. We are willing to train the right person
