Description

We have an exciting new opportunity available, as we are seeking a
Help Desk Technician to join our team In this role you would you would respond to helpdesk realted IT tickets and inquiries.

We are located at
8271 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario

Responsibilities:


  • Respond to phone calls and incoming trouble tickets
  • Create trouble tickets in ticketing system, diagnose issues using remote support tools, escalate tickets as required
  • Follow up on all service calls to ensure issues have been resolved properly
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and optimization on computers as required
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
  • Configure / install computer hardware, software, and basic network equipment
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
  • Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement
  • Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
  • Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation
  • Work with Vendors when necessary to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Develop and add to existing infrastructure, systems and apps
  • Ability to multitask and be agile in a fastpaced environment

Requirements:


  • College or high school diploma
  • Basic understanding of computer networking (e.g., routers, switches, computers & other devices)
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
  • Solid listening skills
  • Problem analysis & problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Windows server with AD, DNS, DHCP
  • Knowledge or hybrid Azure AD
  • Knowledge of Office 36
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Power Platform
  • Knowledge of Veeam backup solution
  • Knowledge of Teams, OneDrive, sharepoint administration.
  • Comp TIA A+ Certification (asset)
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (asset)
  • Licenses with reliable mode of transportation.
  • Able to travel to Second location in Breslau as required.
