Description

This position focuses on Electrical Counter Sales, Order Picking, and Quotations for customers with some Plumbing and Heating Sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Offering exceptional customer service at our counter
Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential upselling
Entering orders into the system
Purchasing materials for customers
Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
Providing product information, pricing quotations, and followup on quotes
Offering technical expertise on products to purchasers
Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
Counter Sales and handling returns as required
Picking Priority orders
Closing orders and stocking bins
Keeping counter and sales area clean
Merchandising and showcasing product

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Customer service experience
Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time
Selfmotivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fastpaced work environment

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Minimum grade 12 education
Knowledge of the plumbing, electrical and heating industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an
asset
