Your new company:
Our client is an ICI Construction Management company with over 15 years of experience, focusing on various projects across the Greater Toronto Area. They are currently in search of a talented individual to join their team as the Director of Project Management.
Your new role:
Reporting to the ownership group, the Director of Project Management will lead a team of 20+ individuals, including project managers and coordinators. Responsibilities include overseeing project management activities, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion with high-quality standards, project planning, budgeting, implementation, and collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients for successful project delivery. The Director will also monitor project performance, identify areas for improvement, and present project status reports to Senior Management. Additionally, they will assist in recruiting, developing, mentoring, and training new Project Managers or Coordinators.
What you'll need to succeed:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing ICI construction projects, both base build and commercial interiors. They should demonstrate experience in team management, excellent multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, consultants, architects, and engineers. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
