    Description
    MatrixHR is getting busier for the construction season
    We are currently looking for Skilled Labour workers for various clients and sites around Calgary and surrounding areas. These positions are both temporary and long-term roles. Must have experience in construction-related activities.

    Pay Rate: $22/hr - $24/hr

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of structures and systems.
    • Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Follow supervisors' instructions and complete tasks within deadlines.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
    • Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the site

    Qualifications:
    • Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
    • Effective communication and teamwork

    Competencies:
    • Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other trade skills.
    • Knowledgeable in using measuring tools.
    • Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites.
    • Strong time management skills

    Ideal Certifications/PPE:
    • Fall Protection
    • WHMIS 2015
    • CSTS 2020
    • EWP/AWP
    • Steel Toed Boots, Hard Hat, Gloves, Safety Glasses, Safety Vest
    • Steel-toed rubber boots
