    We are seeking a Client Service Representative to join our Surety team at our Toronto office

    As a Client Service Representative, your role will involve maintaining and servicing a profitable book of business aligned with company objectives and individual business plans.

    A Day in the Life of a Client Service Representative

    • Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for necessary information, endorsements, or policy documentation.
    • Create proposals for renewals and new business.
    • Address phone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters.
    • Collaborate with Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiations related to changes, renewals, and new business.
    • Review policy documents and other materials for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
    • Follow up on outstanding items from underwriters, markets, and clients.
    • Market new business and renewals as required.
    • Monitor and follow up on outstanding client receivables.
    • Develop and optimize processes.
    • Handle monthly Bordereaux when necessary.
    • Manage invoicing and receivables.
    • Take on other miscellaneous duties and special projects as needed.

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience, Surety experience is a plus.
    • Professional designation required (RIBO).
    • Thorough understanding of markets and their policy wordings.
    • Familiarity with Intact Broker Portal and EPIC is advantageous.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
