Tasks

Establishing methods to meet work schedules
Supervising and coordinating activities of staff responsible for preparing and portioning food
Training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Estimating ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
Hiring food service staff
Ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards
Preparing budget and cost estimates
Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Supervising and checking assembly of trays
Supervising and checking delivery of food trolleys
Establishing work schedules

Support for individuals with disabilities

Offering awareness training to employees to foster an inclusive work environment for individuals with disabilities

Support for newcomers and refugees

Providing diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Indigenous communities

Delivering cultural competency and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

Support for visible minorities

Delivering diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
