  • Support production operations on multi-platform aircraft programs.
  • Understand and resolve airframe and systems problems providing technical support by answering Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) raised by Quality.
  • Work in close cooperation with other disciplines such as Stress, Materials & Processes, Systems, Flight Science, Design, Methods, Quality and Operations to achieve the company's business objectives.
  • Participate in projects that aim to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve financial performance.

    Required competencies and qualifications :

  • You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree or College (3 year) technical diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering with one (1) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) environment with airframe structure repairs. A technical degree with relevant aerospace experience will also be considered.
  • You have the desire and capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after a period of on-the-job training.
  • You are familiar with cabin interiors, metallic and composite aircraft structures as well as aircraft system installation.
  • You have experience dispositioning nonconformances in aerospace, an asset.
  • You must be a team player with a collaborative approach.
  • You are flexible and comfortable working under pressure with a minimum of supervision.
  • You have sound technical judgement and a practical approach.
  • You have good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • You know how to browse Engineering mockups in CATIA V5.
