Cabinet Maker - Toronto, Canada - TKB Custom Millwork
Description
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Set up and operate a variety of machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets and high-grade furniture.
- Study blueprints or drawings
- Match materials for color, grain, or texture.
- Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools
- Glue, fit, and clamp parts and sub assemble together to form complete unit.
- Repair furniture, equipment, and fixtures and be designated Cabinetmaker, Maintenance.
- Ensure production quality and delivery on set timelines.
- Track time spent on jobs and report to the supervisor daily.
- Comply with all the Company rules.
- Complete other tasks delivered by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- To be skilled in practical and manual activities
- To be good at basic mathematical calculations
- Excellent handeye coordination
- To have a keen eye for detail and accurate in their work
- To be organized and punctual.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$23.00-$30.00 per hour
