pertaining to technology requests from all areas of the corporation, participating in the review of related processes and developing
an understanding of the technology's role in meeting business objectives. This role will be responsible for documenting and
maintaining business and technology requirements and developing partnerships within the scope of Digital & Technology Demand
Management process. This role will also fulfill the BA function during projects through the development of various solutions and
implementation.


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Responsible for soliciting, modelling, and analyzing business systems processes and documenting requirements. Working
closely with the Business Stakeholders, Business Partners, Solution Architects, System Developers, and other Business
System Analysts in technology teams to formulate recommendations and strategies for optimal solution design.

  • Partners with team members and key stakeholders to:
  • articulate project vision and document the problem/opportunity and broader context; collaborate with the D&T team members
to develop appropriate solution options; recommend preferred solutions though alternative comparisons; assist in creation of
the value case/business case; support the development of proposed deliverables and implementation plans.

  • Aid in market research for standard tools and solutions to meet business needs within the D&T architecture principles and
strategies and stay current with new industry BA techniques, role definitions, adaptations (such as Agile) to integrate into
existing BA resources and tools.

  • Fosters a collaborative atmosphere by sharing knowledge and experience with other members of the work group and develop
good working relationships with all team members.

  • Facilitate meetings, provide presentations, and write communications.

_ Qualifications:
_


  • A fouryear degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Commerce or a related discipline from a university of
recognized standing plus a minimum of three years of related business analyst experience
OR

  • A twoyear diploma in Computer Programming Technology, Business Administration with Technology Management
Component or related discipline from an institute of recognized standing with a minimum of five years of related business
analyst experience
OR

  • Grade 12 plus a Business Analyst Certificate plus a minimum of seven years related business analyst experience
  • Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies, tools, controls, and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience participating in projects with working knowledge of project deliverables.
  • Business experience working in the area of demand management would be an asset.
  • Familiar with various tools such as MS Office suite, Visio/MIRO or other visual tools, BMC Remedy or other servicebased

- systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess good soft skills to support business relationships and foster open communication.

_ Salary Range_
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $ $51.49 Hourly,
$71, $98,658.30 Annually.
