is an industrial, commercial and institutional multi-trade contractor specializing in millwrighting, heavy rigging, electrical, piping, fabrication, structural, transportation, predictive services, custom machine shop, building maintenance, electric machine shop, sheet metal & HVAC installations and repairs.

We are a custom machine shop specializing in OEM replacement, emergency repair, and design/build parts and components.

We are currently seeking a motivated, well rounded professional manager who thrives in a fast paced environment to join our growing team.

We service all industries including food, pharmaceutical, automotive, mining, institutional, etc. with safety, quality and schedule being of the utmost importance.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the Trade-Mark's Machine Shop team including inhouse machining and onsite projects.
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, and overseeing the daytoday operations of the shop floor, through working with and delegating to the shop foreman, and to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity as well as minimization of delays.
  • Scheduling, progress tracking, estimating, forecasting and performance management.
  • Driving safety programs on the operational side.
  • Pushing growth through business development, client interfacing, and relationship building.
  • Building and promoting strong, longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Implementing project/facility specific safety plan with the assistance of the management team and H&S Manager accordingly.
  • Ensuring the company training standards are met for the shop employees in the use of all equipment and software.
  • Ensuring the proper purchasing of all parts, supplies, and services necessary for the completion of work projects, in accordance with company policies.
  • Workforce management; requesting manpower, terminations, progressive discipline, performance management & problem resolution.
  • Responsible for streamlining processes to minimize costs, decrease errors/deficiencies and meet deadlines.
  • Creating estimates and proposals as part of sales presentations to clients
  • Develop and maintain communication in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff, customers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of management experience within the Industrial/Commercial/Institutional Industry.
  • Strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate and organized documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a strong positive culture
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Have a machinist background or oversaw a machine shop, both manual and CNC
  • Have a welding background or oversaw a welding facility/business unit (asset)
  • Have a QC and shop scheduling background (asset)
You would be required to attend safety, training, and other meetings as required.

$100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
