    We're a high-performing team looking for passionate, execution-focused, self-starters to help us build equity management tools for founders. Pulley is growing quickly with over 3000 customers including unicorns like Clubhouse, Birdies, and Coda - all within our first year of product launch.

    Our trajectory is fueled by top investors like Founders' Fund, Stripe, General Catalyst, Caffeinated Capital, 8vc, Elad Gil, among other great angels. All of our growth has been organic, and we're growing the team to meet the demand.

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a individual who is excited about finance and takes interest in building products that touch complex financial topics. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, from conception to launch.

    We're offering an open coding challenge as a first step in our interviewing process. You can find it at ; it will give you all instructions needed. We'll be reaching out to everyone who can complete the challenge.

    • Frontend: React
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Implement security and data protection measures.
    • Create reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • Provide technical leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of our backend architecture.
    • Lead by example. Promote a culture of egoless learning and participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
    • 5+ years of experience
    • An understanding or desire to work in Golang
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders across a variety of disciplines
