    About the Role:

    AGF Management Limited is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join its Security Operations team. This role will report to AGF's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and operate in a hybrid work environment. We are looking for a person with a passion for cybersecurity and who wants to grow their career.

    The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist's primary role is to lead and assist with AGF's Security Operations' activities and investigate, report, and resolve cybersecurity events and incidents.

    The successful candidate for this position must work in our Toronto corporate office, located at 81 Bay Street, a minimum of 3 times per week.

    About the Team:

    The Security Operations team is responsible for managing AGF's enterprise-wide operational cybersecurity program.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Investigate, escalate, resolve, and document cybersecurity events and incidents.
    • Lead, when required, the cybersecurity incident response process.
    • Monitor logging and alerting reported from various systems across the company.
    • Assist with management and administration of cybersecurity devices.
    • Administer and support cybersecurity solutions and services.
    • Administer the PKI infrastructure including certificate services for devices, users, and access control.
    • Maintain authentication and identity services (e.g., RADIUS, AD and MFA).
    • Manage firewall and VPN policies.
    • Assess current IT environment for vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
    • Monitor and communicate threat intelligence information to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Consult with the Incident Management team to respond to cybersecurity events and incidents.
    • Provide recommendations to improve our cybersecurity processes and procedures.
    • Research cybersecurity trends, new methods, and techniques.
    • Serve as a point of contact for the Security Operations team and the organization.
    • Mentor and educate member of the Security Operation team and AGF staff.
    • Remain current in cyber security training through education courses and seminars.
    • Communicate information security concepts and practices in non-technical language.
    • Escalate events/incidents appropriately and in a timely fashion.
    • Assist with compliance activities.
    • Provide reports to the CISO as needed.
    Your Requirements:
    • 6-8 years of experience with enterprise-scale, cybersecurity/IT programs.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution.
    • Experience with the cybersecurity incident lifecycle within an enterprise environment.
    • Experience with solutions from Palo Alto Networks.
    • Experience managing firewalls is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of PKI Architecture with experience implementing and managing PKI environments.
    • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture.
    • Understanding of NAC including 802.1x related protocols.
    • Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
    • Troubleshoot technical cybersecurity issues.
    • Manage multiple priorities and available resources in a challenging environment.
    • Excellent communication and people skills, especially the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
    • Knowledge of industry-leading cybersecurity frameworks, practices, and technologies.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy and regulatory requirements and emerging cybersecurity trends and issues.
    • Work independently and manage priorities.
    • Flexibility with respect to working hours.
    • Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.
    • Experience in financial services is also a plus.
