    McCann Canada is on the hunt for a talented Front-End Developer to help us build exciting digital experiences for our clients and their customers.

    The RoleAs a Front-End Developer at our agency, you'll play a crucial role in building email and web experiences. You'll collaborate with our strategists, designers, and development team to create best-in-class digital experiences.
    You have a strong understanding of the current state of HTML, CSS, and modern development frameworks. You are also enthusiastic about emerging technology and have a sharp sense of user-experience and accessibility.
    You are detail-oriented and can work independently and within a team. You are an effective communicator and passionate about your own skill development.
    What you will do... Develop digital experiences using HTML, CSS, and jQuery/JavaScript, within various CMS environments and web applications.
    Build and deploy HTML emails using various CRM and email delivery platforms.
    Produce code that is compliant with current accessibility requirements.
    Understand and adhere to the technical best practices.
    Help non-technical team members understand the impact of technology on the realization of innovative communications.


    The Ideal Candidate has:
    A passion for web development.- 2 years of on-the-job web development experience.

    Good working knowledge of the functions and limitations of jQuery /JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, HTML5 and CSS.Experience with or developing front-end code and entering content in various CMS platforms such as Prismic, Contentful, Adobe, WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore.

    Experience with email development and CRM deployment in common platforms such as Mailchimp, ClickDimensions, Adobe Marketo Engage, Constant Contact, or Campaign Monitor.

    Accessibility knowledge (WCAG 2.0 Level AA).Ability to translate high-fidelity designs and prototypes into functional webpages.
    Experience in using source code or version control systems such as GIT.Responsive website development experience.
    Effective communication skills (written and oral).Ability to work in a team or independently.
    Self-motivated and dedicated with a desire to learn.
