Office Clerk - Mississauga, Canada - Dedicated Workforce
Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry.
- Greet and assist visitors at the front desk in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining office supplies and inventory.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and billing.
- Provide administrative support to staff members as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment.
- Familiarity with medical office operations is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or similar software.
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
