    Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

    Company: Warkworth Place

    Located in Warkworth, Ontario, Warkworth Place is seeking a compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join their team.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional care to residents following established protocols and physician's orders.
    • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and resident conditions, taking appropriate action when necessary.
    • Coordinate care activities and oversee nursing and personal care staff.
    • Participate in staff training and development, escalating concerns to the Director of Care.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold a valid certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
    • Bilingual abilities in English and French are advantageous but not mandatory.
    • Demonstrate a genuine care for seniors and a compassionate attitude.
    • Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
    • Prior experience in long-term care is a plus, with a strong understanding of job responsibilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to problem-solve creatively.
