What you'll be doing:


  • Execute monthend processes and update reports in Adaptive
  • Ensure timely and full reconciliation of Adaptive and NetSuite financial data
  • Participation in preparation of consolidated and nonconsolidated internal management reports
  • Ensure that the business processes in place enable accurate financial information and put in place necessary corrective measures in a timely manner
  • Work with the Financial Systems and Support Group to ensure timely and accurate resolution of system related issues
  • Assist in the annual audits by compiling information and analysis, as required by auditors
  • Build clear and insightful reports. Improve the financial reporting reliability, accuracy, clarity, and production time
  • Produce clear, wellstructured documentation that supports reporting needs and audit processes
  • Support the development and implementation of dashboards and management reports to meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Understand the competitive landscape that Lightspeed competes within and assist with market analysis
  • Work on ad hoc projects as assigned; such as assessment of new business activities or change of process
  • Ensure reporting processes and key controls maintain SOX compliance
  • Assist with special requests from the executive team

What you need to bring:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
  • Expert knowledge in Excel is a must
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Workday Adaptive Planning software
  • Minimum of 1 year experience related to Financial Analysis
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with NetSuite or other ERP software
  • Experience with developing, maintaining and reporting results of a P&L
  • Experience with planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience building financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and working with chart of accounts
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication to interact with all levels of management
  • Strong strategic / outside of the box thinking and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented, autonomous, and able to take initiative
  • Highly motivated and can work both as a team and independently
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
  • Experience with other CPM/EPM tools
