The School of Trades is excited to be recruiting for a new Welding Instructor to join their team.Be Passionate and Taking Initiative with these Responsibilities:
Instruct students in a classroom and provide academic assistance during consultation hours.
Identify, prepare, and organize course materials and learning resources for course delivery.
Facilitate and maintain a creative and positive learning environment which provides the opportunity for meaningful learning.
Participate in projects that support college activities and environment.
Assist with the identification, design, implementation, and evaluation of new initiatives.
We prepare students to either enter the Welding profession or assist in the completion of their journey to certification as a Red Seal Welder by engaging them in a variety of intriguing lessons in a broad mix of industry fundamentals.
Knowledge of all welding processes and a variety of fabrication and repair techniques.Experience teaching in an adult environment and teaching in an on-line format is preferred.
