    Team Manager - Fund Accounting

    Join one of Montreal's leading investment firms as a Team Manager for our Fund Accounting team. We are a dynamic organization committed to excellence and innovation in the financial services sector.

    We are seeking an experienced Team Managerin fund accounting, a deep understanding of investment strategies and markets, and a proven track record of leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the fund accounting team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of net asset value calculations and financial reporting.
  • Develop and communicate risk policies and procedures to reduce operational risk.
  • Collaborate with other operations teams and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate projects, including system enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for the team's output and focus on problem resolution.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Make recommendations regarding hiring, termination, salary actions, and other personnel matters.

    • Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in fund accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and French.
  • Strong knowledge of Middle-to-Back Office platforms offering ABOR functionalities.
  • Familiarity with investment strategies and security types, including derivatives.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
