Who are we?

About the Role:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process daily labour reporting, time off requests, banked hours, and attendance recording of over 160 hourly manufacturing staff.
  • Ensure timesheets are kept up to date with necessary changes and provided to the Supervisors.
  • Take messages from the callin message centre and record them on the callin sheet.
  • Monitor postage meter and advise IT when money requires replenishing.
  • Greet and complete signin protocols with all visitors (salespersons, contractors, couriers and etc.).
  • Sort and distribute daily incoming mail. Record A/R cheques in a book.
  • Monitor staff schedules and agendas. Be the contact for communicating the status of all employees. Maintain a current list of absent salaried employees and bring the list to designated areas when emergency evacuation occurs.
  • Forward incoming faxes to the appropriate person/department.
  • Maintain current phone lists including external addresses and contact information.
  • Assist other departments, as required, in daily/weekly/monthly tasks and projects (i.e. HR, Purchasing and Accounting).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:


  • Post-Secondary Education, preferably in office administration, or minimum 2 years experience in an office administrative function
  • Extensive experience with Windows and Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work and cope with frequent interruptions
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with discretion

Location: 159 Roy Blvd, Brantford, ON, N3R 7K1 (On-site, five days a week)


Hours of Work: 8:00 - 4:30, Monday-Friday
