WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?


Tennis Canada is seeking an experienced
Manager, Social Content & Platforms to join and lead our expanding digital marketing efforts.

This role develops, owns and executes the social content strategy for the National Bank Open and Tennis Canada, works with internal and external partners to generate revenue and provide actionable insights based on performance and monitoring.

The incumbent works within the marketing team to produce relevant pieces of engaging content and oversees the daily updating of our social channels.

This role demands creativity, strategic insight, and expertise in digital marketing.


Key Responsibilities

Development and Strategy

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of social content strategies for Tennis Canada and National Bank Open's social channels.
  • Manage and mentor a team of community managers and social content specialists in executing the overall social media strategy, from concept to execution.
  • Monitor and carry out digital and social inventory; collaborate in the creation of a new commercial inventory and the monetization of existing assets.
  • Maintain and create content for Tennis Canada and National Bank Open's social channels using various digital tools.
  • Master organic and paid media strategies to boost key social media KPIs, enhance revenue generation, and amplify engagement.
  • Monitor creative calendars and campaign budgeting.
  • Oversee and manage the digital voice of the brand by communicating the organization's key messages and presentations on these channels and ensure brand consistency.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across business units to enhance project outcomes.

Data & Measurement

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success of social campaigns, proactively optimize campaigns and adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize engagement and monetization.
  • Collaborate with the data team to develop and enhance social media reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights into campaign performance, audience behavior, and content engagement trends.
  • Prepare and present regular reporting on social media performance to relevant stakeholders. Reports should include detailed analysis and recommendations for future campaigns based on datadriven insights.

WHO YOU ARE?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.[A1] [A2]
  • 35+ years of professional experience in Marketing or Advertising, specifically focused on social media management.
  • Experience in the sports industry (specifically in tennis) highly recommended.
  • Billingual (English and French) required.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
  • Expert in using major social media platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social and content production software
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate endtoend customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Analytical prowess, with a solid command of analytics tools like Google Analytics, and PowerBI.[A3] [A4] [A5]
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Skilled as a people manager with experience needed to develop and motivate a team for success.[A6] [A7] [A8] [A9]
