Kichton Contracting Ltd (KCL) has been in business since 1963 and is based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. KCL is classified as a medium sized civil earthworks contractor. Our work ranges from residential earthworks, commercial site development to industrial projects.

Our services include grading design for all types of new commercial and industrial sites along with retrofitting existing sites to accommodate new site development.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain gradebook, asbuilt drawings, and inventory.
Set up, protect, and manage transit and trench safety.
Understand geodetic elevations, prints, and locates.
Record shots, mentor laborers, and communicate with Pipelayer.
Rig and prep pipes/structures safely; ensure backfilling.
Build and install manholes, ladder rungs, and F&C per specs.
Report issues to Foreman and maintain communication on site.
Ensure materials and trench safety before work begins.
Perform additional tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 year of previous experience working in an underground infrastructure environment.
Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs, unassisted.
Must be 18 years of age.
