Planning and Design Technician to join our team at the
Vaughan office.

Responsibilities:_
Preparing conceptual development sketches, site plans, subdivision plans, and other visual materials including but not limited to 3D Massing Models, shadow studies, viewshed analyses and realistic renderings.
Assisting in preparing report figures, graphics, and exhibits in support of planning reports, urban design briefs, presentations, and tribunal hearings, etc.
Exposure to a wide variety of urban design and land use planning projects.

Requirements:_
A related degree or diploma from a recognized college or university program;
A portfolio illustrating computer drafting skills and design creativity;
Experience in a planning, urban design, computer graphics or similar work environment;
Proficiency with AutoCAD (release 2018 or later);
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign;
Proficiency using Google Sketchup or other 3D modelling and rendering software;
Knowledge of Site Plan, Subdivision and architectural design is an asset;
Membership in CACPT and/or other professional organizations is preferred.
