  • Responsibilities:_
  • Preparing conceptual development sketches, site plans, subdivision plans, and other visual materials including but not limited to 3D Massing Models, shadow studies, viewshed analyses and realistic renderings.
  • Assisting in preparing report figures, graphics, and exhibits in support of planning reports, urban design briefs, presentations, and tribunal hearings, etc.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of urban design and land use planning projects.

  • Requirements:_
  • A related degree or diploma from a recognized college or university program;
  • A portfolio illustrating computer drafting skills and design creativity;
  • Experience in a planning, urban design, computer graphics or similar work environment;
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (release 2018 or later);
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign;
  • Proficiency using Google Sketchup or other 3D modelling and rendering software;
  • Knowledge of Site Plan, Subdivision and architectural design is an asset;
  • Membership in CACPT and/or other professional organizations is preferred.
