  • Corporate Law ClerkPermanentEtobicoke, OntarioJOB-1496 Provide legal and administrative support in a mixed practice mainly focused on corporate commercial law Assist with articles of incorporation, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions, continuance, arrangements, etc. Prepare and draft correspondence and resolutions Assist with corporate reorganizations, restructuring and mergers & acquisitions Draft routine closing documents, conduct searches, prepare closing books and all other administrative tasks related to commercial transactions Work on multiple transactions and matters simultaneously Organize and maintain lawyer files Assist with the diligence of properties and drafting instruments for registration with the land registry office REQUIREMENTS Law Clerk diploma Excellent oral and written communication skills Detail oriented Ability to manage practice of multiple lawyers Excellent organizational skills Must be familiar with billing and docketing systems Able to work independently with minimal supervision Interested candidates are invited to apply We thank all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
