- Facilitating and leading the development of processes, strategies, plans, and designs that support successful implementation of IT facility-based projects, initiatives, and operational support;
- Participating as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, with a focus on establishing annual unit operational plans, setting priorities on an ongoing basis and ensuring collaborative working relationships are maintained with key stakeholders in the organization;
- Superior communication, problem-solving, accountability, systems management skills, and a solid track record in initiating and supporting collaborative work and innovation solutions;
- Understanding how to advance the strategic and corporate work of the organization and the goals of government overall;
- Extensive senior leadership experience that enables you to lead, direct and manage a team of professionals;
- Post-secondary degree in business, technology or health related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working at a senior level, preferably director or above is preferred.
- Major portfolio and operational experience with budget, procurement, and people management abilities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience managing and/or sponsoring strategic projects at the provincial or national level.

As the result of a province wide consolidation of IT services in the health care sector, we have seen substantial growth in our organization that is only going to increase as we aim to meet our expanded mandate and the immense need for our support.
We are a Treasury Board Crown Corporation that focuses on digital technologies to enable, support, and enhance high quality health services across the entire province.
Although we may not be front facing with patient care, we have a huge role in maintaining and improving IT systems and supporting health care providers and teams throughout Saskatchewan in delivering the best possible care to patients, citizens, and health system users.
Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. We support partners administrative, operational support, digital collaboration and IT infrastructure needs.Additional programs and services that support patient care and information include Virtual Care, MySaskHealthRecord, the Provincial Electronic Health Record, Health Registries (eligibility for health services/distribution of health cards) and vital event records.

eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a dynamic, high performing, values driven and strategic leader to join our senior leadership team as Director, Field Operations - North.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Infrastructure and Core Operations, you will be an integral asset in leading the day-to-day management, operations, and continual improvement of the IT Operations North portfolio within the Deskside, Network and System Operational branches.
Leading teams across the northern half of province to ensure the planning and delivery of operational deliverables; This role also provides leadership for operational delivery and management practice oversight within their specific portfolio.
