Ancora Light Respite is looking to looking for an energetic, fun, and empathetic individual to join our team.

We are currently hiring for Toronto & York Region (Vaughan)

Job Responsibilities:

Follow and implement the client's respite plan during the visit;
Engage in general client care including feeding, dressing, toileting and bathing;
Assist client to participate and engage in a variety of activities at home;
Assist clients to participate and engage in their local community;
Maintain client confidentiality at all times;
Update clients' communication book after each visit;
Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Educational background in ECE, ECA, CYW, PSW, or related fields;
Minimum 1year experience supporting children with different abilities;
Knowledge about ABA and behavioural strategies is an asset;
Ability to work flexible hours (afternoon, evening, and some weekends);
Must be able to drop off and pick up materials for clients;
Police Check/ Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.

Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Workers are required to complete a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire before starting each shift. Additionally, face masks will need to be worn throughout the respite session.
