Key Accountabilities:
- Elicit and write requirements (functional and nonfunctional), write and execute testing, write and manage defects, identify, define and correct maintenance problems
- Provide second or thirdlevel technical support for hardware and software problems passed on by lowerlevel help or by other technical staff
- Develop, test, assure quality, monitor, and maintain, to ensure interoperability, reliability, security, optimum performance levels, capacity assessment, configuration management, software and hardware support, systems support, network and data security, complex problem resolution, in service support training
- Contribute to the conceptual and physical design of the projects and lifecycle products, and lead or support implementation
- Build crossfunctional relationships to gain support and elicit requirements.
- Participate or coordinate the design and implementation of changes and customer service enhancements, including: feasibility studies, cost/benefit, business reengineering, development, intersubsystem and intrasubsystem interface, modeling, design consistency, testing, configuration, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of various information systems, productivity tools, customer service enhancements, Company nodespecific policies, standards, guidelines, and recommended practices
Education/Occupational Certification:
- Graduated from a recognized university or college with a degree or certification in a business discipline, computer sciences, or information systems or an acceptable combination of education, related experience, and training
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst working with business and technical stakeholders involved in system integration, and the lifecycle maintenance and support activities on one or more products
- Experience leading business process modelling exercises, eliciting requirements from diverse stakeholders, developing business requirements, analysing and documenting functional requirements and nonfunctional requirements
- Experience developing test cases and acceptance criteria and performing all levels of testing and defect management; including with requirements and test management tools (such as Azure DevOps)
- Experience with integrated project team delivery and coordinating deliverables and contributing to strategy and planning with management
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the methodologies used in support of software development testing and user acceptance testing
- Knowledge of business process modeling, use case development and requirement elicitation techniques
- Knowledge of system integration, maintenance processes, procedures and business functions in context of business system
Abilities:
- Excellent requirement gathering and writing, testing, and defect management skills
- Presenting ideas, constructs and desired outcomes to a small to medium sized audience
- Coordination and problem resolution between infrastructure, endpoint computing, and network stakeholders
- Technical skills and expertise in own functional area
- Coach others in field of expertise, problem solving, teamwork and innovation, relationship management issues, involve others in problem solving, decisionmaking and creative thinking
- May lead moderately complex to complex projects as required
- Analytical thinking
- Develop requirements and evaluation methodologies or criteria, to support the procurement and supplier selection process
