Currently, we are looking for a responsible and motivated team member in the role of Pressure Vessel Welder for our factory in Brantford.

About the Position:


This position will support customers all across Ontario with a primary focus on the GTA - understand Miura Water Treatment Service is for Total Steam Solution service.

In order to get customer satisfaction, Miura gives customer service with stable steam supply without downtime and Pressure Vessel failure for a long time.

Also, it will be both demanding working closely with Boiler service, office and sales staff throughout the Division to improve our levels of effective customer service.

Knowledge of all WT maintenance procedures, office management. Service, inspect and repair all Miura Water Treatment equipment.

Key activity will be to implement a consistent approach to WT maintenance best practices across the departments.


Principal Responsibilities:


  • For avoiding pressure vessel failure, improve FHP/IHP in order to decrease Pressure Vessel failure and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Take Water samples and test water quality on site
  • Adjust chemical dosage of chemical controller
  • Consult with customers on site to resolve any issues and communicate work performed
  • Create Service Reports for Customers
  • See MOM Data and understand Scale monitor temperature, resolve issues or remove scale
  • Assesses and identifies all scale and corrosion related problems with boilers.
  • Learn, understand and create manuals independently.
  • Support to renew contract on time and ensure 100% of branch obligations: water samples and inspection about Water treatment (WT) are completed each month.
  • Work with Service, Sales, and administrative teams to effectively communicate potential leads, upcoming projects, scheduled deliveries, installations, commissioning with supervisor.
  • Work effectively with WT supervisor and admin team to support to improve parts ordering, shipping, WT maintenance and customer support.
  • Create proposals for customer site improvements a increase revenue of maintenance contracts and chemical sales through a systematic approach of contacting existing customers who are not fully serviced by Miura.
  • Reduce performance failures of Miura WT equipment. Perform regular maintenance as well as troubleshoot and repair WT equipment.
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.

Requirements and Competencies:


  • High school diploma
  • Basic understanding of Water treatment
  • Basic understanding of Mechnical
  • Basic understanding of Electrical
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Ability to read and understand manuals
  • Ability to Travel within Canada as needed
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong team player as well as the ability to work independently;
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Job Types:

Salary:
$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
