    Position: Desk Security Guard

    Site: Bay Adelaide Centre

    City: 333 Bay Street, Toronto

    Status: Part Time

    Hours: Sunday and Monday

    Pay Rate: $19.37/hr.

    Site Description: Bay Adelaide West commenced operations in June 2009. Covering an entire city block, the Bay Adelaide Centre comprises the newly erected East Tower, a 1/2-acre urban plaza. Linked to the PATH (Toronto's 27KM underground walkway), the complex boasts 51 floors, 1,100 underground parking spaces, on-site management, 24/7 building access, and security.

    • Ensure adherence to the assigned patrol schedule;
    • Offer clear and concise communication to security personnel;
    • Document all information accurately and comprehensively;
    • Adhere to client communication protocols, including prompt incident reporting and providing detailed and factual information;
    • Be well-versed in all Brookfield Standard Operating and Emergency Procedures;
    • Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service abilities;
    • Compose detailed, factual, and concise incident reports as per Appendix A;
    • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Exhibit a strong command of the English language;
    • Showcase analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
    • Demonstrate solid organizational, prioritization, and time management proficiencies;
    • Excel in working in a fast-paced, demanding environment;
    • Display flexibility and adaptability in diverse situations and interactions;
    • Work effectively under pressure;
    • Collaborate well within a team.
    Education Requirements (Any)

    High School Diploma/GED

    Certification Requirements (Any)

    Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
    Valid Security Licence
