    The Capital Projects Planning and Delivery (CPPD) division operates under the Department of Consumer Protection and Government Services and manages capital projects for various government departments including Government Services, Education, Environment, Housing, and Justice.

    • Must hold a degree in Architecture
    • Must be licensed as a registered architect with The Manitoba Association of Architects (MAA) or eligible for registration through the Reciprocity Agreement of Canadian Architectural Licensing Authorities
    • Proficiency in architectural practices, project management, and staff supervision
    • Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and project budgeting
    • Experience in facility space planning, project prioritization, and contract administration
    • Software skills in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
    • Strong written communication abilities for report preparation

    This role, reporting to the Manager of the Architecture and Structural Engineering Group, involves providing senior leadership and owner advocacy support to government departments and agencies.

    Responsibilities include overseeing professional standards, guiding project development, conducting facility assessments, and managing in-house design projects. The senior architect will also provide expertise and guidance on external projects and engage with stakeholders effectively.
