- Auditing pay changes using PeopleSoft HRIS software for all contract types;
- Ensuring payments adhere to authorizations and agreements;
- Managing bi-weekly pay processing from time collection to payment disbursements;
- Adjusting employee deductions and handling timesheet submissions;
- Preparing data for electronic upload and year-end reports;
- Completing post-pay reporting, remittances, and reconciliations;
- Participating in project work and meetings;
- Performing other assigned duties.
- 3-year diploma/degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience;
- PCP Designation required;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills;
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM preferred;
- Experience interpreting collective agreements;
- High integrity and compliance with CRA legislation;
- Experience with accounting principles and general ledger distributions.
