    Hamilton Video & Sound ( is seeking a FULL-TIME Permanent Commercial Electronics Installer and Service Technician (Ancaster, ON) .

    Our NEW Headquarters location in the Ancaster Business Park, in beautiful Ancaster Ontario, with close proximity to highways 403 and 52, provides a convenient commute for those living in Brant, Waterloo, Hamilton and Halton regions.

    We are seeking a candidate with the following attributes:
    Strong knowledge in Audio/Video systems and connection/signal standards.
    Computer / IT Systems knowledge.

    We are seeking technicians with IT experience, comfortable with setting up network-attached storage/recording devices, network-attached cameras and other appliances, and installing, learning and using new software tools as required.

    Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems an asset.
    Audio knowledge (theory and applied) a strong asset, including experience with 70v and 25v sound systems.
    Understand technical system architecture
    Strong troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of electronic test equipment
    The desire to provide superior customer service. Strong communication skills and customer service focus
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members
    Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    Flexibility to travel to various job sites throughout the day
    You must possess the following:
    Completion of a college diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience required.
    CTS Certification an Asset
    Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds independently.
    Ability to work without direct supervision, good communication skills, ambitious and self-motivated.
    Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding is required
    A valid G-class licence is required
    Ability to possess government clearance for sites via police background check
