We are seeking a resourceful and hardworking individual to join our team as a Maintenance Manager.
As the Maintenance Manager overseeing Canmore's maintenance team for 5 hotels in Canmore and 1 in Banff, you will lead maintenance operations while ensuring safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.
You will be in a key leadership role, guiding the maintenance department.Shifts:
Full-time, Permanent
Create preventative maintenance schedules for the Canmore 5 and Banff Suites.
Manage and follow an operating budget as presented by the Director of Facilities.
Make suggestions to the Director of Facilities concerning improvements which could lead to more satisfied customers and/or increase volume of business or profit.
Collaborate with the Director of Facilities to help structure capital and operations budgets.Monitor in-room and unit maintenance.
Yearly room and unit close outs and perform full preventative maintenance.
Oversee the Maintenance Supervisor and team.
Regularly meet with the Director of Facilities to discuss operations.
Work closely with the Director of Facilities, Generals Managers, Laundry, Guest Services and Housekeeping departments to ensure rooms are ready for sale.
Manage hot tubs, including testing, refilling, and following Alberta Health Services protocols.Recruit maintenance staff, with the assistance of the Recruitment & HR Admin.
Ensure meticulous cleanliness and orderliness of the maintenance shop and work sites.
Knowledge of light carpentry, plumbing, lawn care, painting, and general troubleshooting.
Possession of a valid Canadian driver's license with a clean record (minimum of 3 years of driving history).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other relevant manuals and documents.
Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
