OVERVIEW:


Based at the Company's Pembroke Office, the focus of this role is to provide exceptional customer service, in person and on the telephone, to work with the Dispatcher to coordinate deliveries and dispatch drivers and trucks.

Additionally, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) processes payments, generates invoices for customers, and responds to customer and driver inquiries.

This role is temporary full-time providing 40 hours per week, worked from Monday to Friday starting in November for a 12-month contract.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Communicate with customers, in person or on the phone.
  • Take customer orders for goods or services; promote goods or services.
  • Provide information about accounts; update accounts; initiate billing and process payments; and receive payment for services.
  • Performs accounts receivable tasks including contacting customers.
  • Daily bank deposits.
  • Process overthecounter lubricant sales.
  • Cardlock inventory fuel movements.
  • Cardlock administration.
  • Complete and review daily truck reports.
  • Ensure all customer billing is accurate and on time.
  • Ensures supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time.
  • Prepares progress reports to ensure processes are in control.
  • Contributes to the monthend process.
  • Works with sales and operations colleagues to assist in the coordination of installations and/or repairs.
  • Provide backup support for other CSRs if required, including in the Shawville, QC divisional office.
  • Any other duties which can reasonably be required.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:


  • High school diploma.
  • A minimum of 2 years working in an administrative/clerical, accounting role.
  • A demonstrable high degree of computer literacy is essential.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze and evaluate information used to make sound business decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal, written, and on the telephone.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle competing deadlines and multiple priorities.
