    Summary of Position

    As directed by the project Foreman, this role involves executing water and sewer tasks safely and efficiently, focusing on pipe installation, connections, and related structures.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Physically demanding tasks such as pipe cutting, trench work, and manual labor
    • Assist in aligning pipes for water main and sewer projects
    • Handle loading and unloading of tools, materials, and equipment
    • Operate various industrial equipment and hand tools
    • Provide signals and guidance to equipment operators
    • Lift and move plywood, air struts, and perform pipe/utility excavation
    • Handle pump hoses, pneumatic tools, vibrators, and tampers
    • Rig up chains and straps to move manhole materials
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Qualifications, Training, and Education

    • Preferably 3 years of experience in water-related work
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
    • Hold a Class 5 Driver's license
    • Training in Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015

    Working Conditions

    Expect physically demanding tasks in various positions, working outdoors in dusty and underground settings, including sewers, and in all weather conditions.
