As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for a Human Resources Advisor in Waterloo.


Position Summary and Responsibilities:


  • We are currently seeking a highly talented and motivated individual with the purpose to support our expanding Waterloo location.
  • In this position, you will support the local business partners to ensure the execution of the Teledyne Imaging HR strategy. This role will support a variety of administrative and systems related tasks along with working on continuous improvement projects.

  • Payroll
  • Employee Relations
  • Administration
  • Controlled Goods coordination and administrative support
  • Audit support (SOX etc.)
  • Job descriptions update and maintenance
  • Conduct exit interviews with all exiting employees
  • Training
  • Delivering local training on corporate/regional HR products.
  • New Hire Orientation
  • Employee Communication


  • HR Newsletter

  • Bimonthly
  • Coordination with HRBP's/Management/Marketing
  • Employee Engagement
  • Recognition Program
  • Service Awards/Anniversaries
  • Employee Events
  • Tier 2 Employee/Management Support
  • Local point of contact for managers regarding a wide range of HR topics, for example, company policy questions and day to day queries across the life cycle of employment.
  • Support and draft updates to company policies and processes in line with local legislation with guidance from HRBP's focused on continuous improvement
  • Support other HR projects as required

Qualifications:


Requirements:


  • University or College Education in a related field (or relevant experience)
  • 23 years of previous HR experience exposure supporting supervisors/management considered an asset
  • Professional designation or working towards considered an asset (CHRP/SHRM)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience using Workday considered an asset
