- Assist with the preparation of quarterly earnings materials and other public disclosures;
- Create and disseminate weekly investor relations reports and quarterly board reports;
- Prepare marketing packages and assist in the planning of Fortis' marketing program;
- Support the organization's investor relations targeting process;
- Work with sellside analysts through quarterly modelling process and consensus estimates;
- Manage the investor relations email and other stakeholder inquiries;
- Develop and maintain the investor relations deliverables calendar;
- Manage investor lists and key contacts;
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to external organizations and focus on client relationships;
- Highly motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities;
- Highly analytical with an excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a concentration in accounting or finance;
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in accounting or finance;
- Previous working experience in investor relations considered an asset;
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation considered an asset.

Fortis Inc. (FTS/NYSE: FTS) has an exciting temporary opportunity available to join its team in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador as an Investor Relations Analyst.
We are inviting applications from accounting and finance professionals with a passion for investor relations, who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investor Relations and Business Development, the successful candidate will play a key role and be an integral member of the Investor Relations team.
