    Description
    Industrial Training Leader

    Our client, a leading Canadian owned and operated manufacturer of architectural building products in Langley, British Columbia, is currently seeking an Industrial Training Leader immediately on a permanent full-time basis.

    Reporting to the Manager of Software Development & Employee Training, you will be overseeing and administering training strategies, role-specific onboarding, training effectiveness tracking, measurement, and evaluation via the Learning Management System (LMS).

    and improves effective manufacturing training program that articulates and adherence to standards and a continuous improvement mindset leading to operational excellence.

    site-specific technical learning solution creation (SOPs, Guided Workflows, Technical Learning Aids) to assist with effective, proven and tested training program.

    site-specific training systems are managed and improved regularly including machine skill assessments, feedback, and certification.

    daily technical training on the floor to assist with the continuous learning of team members in their roles across all shifts.

    with tracking, evaluating, and measuring training locally using the company's Dept. Training Standards & Learning System tools.
    with Human Resources leader to support New Hire Orientation/On-Boarding Training, as needed.
    builds, and maintains relationships with trainees and leaders in their role.
    degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration / Management, or related field

    five (5) years conducting/ leading/ developing training programs and experience with a variety of delivery methods (classroom, On-The-Job training, etc.).

    knowledge, experience, and implementation of Learning Management Systems.
    communication skills to work on the floor, with all shifts, in an industrial manufacturing setting.
    Office experience required – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Forms.
