- Three to five years of experience in Indigenous housing and/or northern social programming
- Knowledge of northern Indigenous cultural practices and political environments
- Experience in human resources, financial management, budgeting, and government program delivery
- Educational background in business management, administrative planning, or related field
- Strong leadership skills within an Indigenous organization
- Ability in strategic planning and fostering dialogue among stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
- Digital fluency and proficiency in various software
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel

Are you passionate about Indigenous housing issues? Do you believe in prioritizing housing as a means to enhance community capacity?
The K'asho Got'ine Housing Society (KGHS) is in search of a qualified individual to join their dynamic team as an Executive Director. Reporting to the KGHS President and Board of Directors, the Executive Director will lead the organization strategically and operationally, aiming to develop innovative solutions for northern housing issues. KGHS, a non-profit established in 2016, is focused on addressing housing challenges in Fort Good Hope by working on shelter projects and future initiatives to assist residents with homeownership and repairs.
Interested candidates should have the following qualifications:
Qualified candidates will undergo an interview and reference process to further evaluate their skills. Fort Good Hope, a remote Dene community in the NWT, prefers applicants with previous experience working in Indigenous communities in the north.
Preference will be given to Sahtú Beneficiaries, Sahtú residents, NWT residents, and Indigenous applicants based on specific criteria. Applicants are encouraged to self-identify.
