- Batch concrete using computerized equipment that produces accurately calibrated and consistent mix quality
- Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or by hand to ensure conformance to established standards
- Report any deviations from the norm that might impact production, quality or processing efficiencies
- Check inventory control of raw materials, concrete additives and/or specialized materials and notifies appropriate suppliers of production needs.
- Communicate with Dispatch and Transportation departments regarding material delivery Responsible for keeping accurate weight, measure, and billing information to ensure proper crediting to customer.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable environmental regulations as it relates to the proper operation of batch plant equipment.
- Responsible for daily inspection of facilities and will complete maintenance checklist.
- Will operate a front end loader when needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of Command batch system is an asset
- Working knowledge of concrete and admixtures
- Must be able to effectively communicate and safely follow directions
- Must have ability to operate Loader and other yard equipment as needed
- Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
- Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
- In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain
- Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required

In this position you are responsible for operating and troubleshooting a ready-mix batch plant, including managing the mixing and loading of concrete mixes according to order specifications for customer delivery.
