The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full time, permanent, Project Leader to work as part of the Data Quality and Governance team under the Data Systems team in the Provincial System Support Program.

The Provincial System Support Program (PSSP) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) works with communities, service providers, government, and system partners, including Ontario Health's Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence (CoE)) to move evidence to action and create sustainable change in Ontario's mental health and addictions system.

With expertise in implementation, knowledge mobilization, evaluation, equity, lived experience engagement, and data management, PSSP is on the ground across the province, collaborating with a wide variety of health and social care partners, to build a stronger, more equitable and more accessible mental health and substance use care system.


The Project Leader will have a lead role in coordinating and implementing data management processes across projects and products supported by PSSP's Data Systems team, as well as system-level initiatives led by the CoE.

In addition, they will work to ensure consistent quality processes and support the development of standards across the Data Systems portfolio.


The Project Leader will engage internal and external stakeholders about processes related to the collection and management of data, support the implementation and evaluation of data systems, conduct process mapping and gap analyses, and develop frameworks for process improvement.

They will work closely with the Product and Reporting and Customer and Systems Support teams, project leadership, health service providers and stakeholders to ensure quality and integrity in client and program data.


Qualifications:

All skills listed below are required unless otherwise stated as an asset.

  • A Master's degree in health informatics or a related field
  • Experience with implementing, collecting and using health data sets, and related data quality and reporting processes and procedures
  • Experience conducting process mapping, gap analyses and asset inventories of data systems
  • Experience in collaborating with technical teams and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using and coaching others to use data systems, processes and best practices related to mental health and addictions
  • Understanding of data governance best practices and standards, specifically related to PHI and priority populations
  • Understanding of privacy and legal best practices and standards, specifically related to data collection, transfer, storage and reporting
  • Experience/familiarity with Tableau is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, deductive reasoning skills, sense of urgency, persistence, patience and creativity in problem solving
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English for communicating with stakeholders, presentations internally and externally, provide training to smallmedium size groups
  • Strong organization skills; able to receive tasks from supervisor and formulate logical sequence of activities to achieve the task.
  • Experienced builder of partnerships and collaboration with different types of stakeholders (I.e. hospital, government, service providers, etc).
  • Demonstrated skill and confidence with using virtual technology as a means of engagement, and implementation of projects
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite of tools, in particular Jira Service desk and Confluence an asset
  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset

Salary Range:
$ $51.54 per hour
