- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the firm's overall goals and objectives.
- Identify and target new business opportunities, including potential clients, partners and markets.
- Lead market research efforts to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and client needs.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders and industry partners.
- Manage client expectations and ensure smooth communication between clients and the project teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and secure new partnerships that align with the firm's expertise and strategic direction.
- Work closely with the firm's partners and the proposal team to draft and submit proposals
- Collaborate with partners on negotiations and deals, ensuring favourable terms for the firm.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and drive BD efforts.
- Develop and maintain a strong network within the architecture and design industry, including real estate developers, government agencies, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, preferably in the architecture, design or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the architecture and design market in Canada, including industry trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized and self‑motivated, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Permanent, full‑time position (you decide the number of hours in your regular workweek)
