Description

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Sales and Product Promotion:
Promote and sell products to customers, utilizing effective sales techniques.
Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, features, and benefits.
Demonstrate product knowledge and explain key features to customers.
Upsell and crosssell products to maximize sales and meet sales targets.
Store Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
Receive, process, and stock merchandise accurately and efficiently.
Monitor and replenish inventory levels, ensuring product availability.
Participate in inventory counts and assist with merchandising activities.
Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer service.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and management regarding customer needs and concerns.
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Assist in training new team members as needed.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Attend training sessions and product presentations to enhance knowledge and skills.
Share product knowledge with customers to assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in sales or retail is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a retail setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
Familiarity with pointofsale systems and cash handling procedures.
Basic math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy merchandise if required.
