Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Administrative Assistant, we'll count on you to:
- Type, revise and combine materials such as correspondence, reports, forms, and meeting minutes using MSWord
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format
- Complete word processing as needed, including formatting letters, memos, reports, and labels
- Create and maintain digital filing system
- Coordinate and manage meeting facilities and arrangements
- Provide backup reception duties, answering and directing telephone calls, delivering messages, greeting employees and visitors, sending couriers, and distributing incoming mail
- Support production of reports and drawings
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative experience in an office environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
- Selfmotivated, wellorganized and detailoriented
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- A cando positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employeeowned culture is a must
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficient in AODA formatting preferred
- Associate degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cisco Webex and MSTeams
- Current Joint Health & Safety certificate
- Current First Aid / CPR certificate
